Welcome to Year 2- Kestrels
Our class teacher is Miss Abrahams.
In a morning, we are very lucky to be joined by Miss Thompson, who helps us on our learning journey.
In the morning:
Phonics, Guided Reading, Literacy and Maths.
In the afternoon:
Worship and Wider curriculum (Science, Art, DT, PE, History, Geography, PSHE and RE)
Our PE lessons take place on a Friday afternoon. Children are expected to wear a full PE kit, including pumps. If your child wears earrings please remove these in the morning before school.
Talk and Tales happens every Tuesday at 3pm. Parents and carers are very welcome to join us each week.
Optional Homework is sent home at the start of each half term via Class Dojo, We check every Friday. We love to see what you get up to!
Children must read, at home, three times a week and books will be changed at least every Friday. Children earn 3 Dojos for completing this.
Children must log on to Numbots for 20 minutes, at home, each week. Children will earn 3 Dojos for completing this. Log in details can be found in yellow reading records.
