Our Curriculum Statement
At GMSJ we have worked very hard to develop a curriculum which meets the requirements of the National Curriculum and the needs of our children. Each Subject Leader has developed their own Curriculum statement to reflect the overarching principles of the whole school vision.
Our fundamental belief, based on pedagogical research, is that learning makes a change to long term memory. With this as our curriculum intention, our chosen path of implementing this encompasses all aspects of teaching and learning. We view this as a developmental process where we hope to see the green shoots of its impact after embedded learning.
